Employment pass Application Process with SBS Consulting

If you are a foreign entrepreneur, you can initiate the Employment Pass (EP) application process with SBS Consulting only after you have incorporated a Singapore company.

The EP application processing time takes approximately 7 days to a few weeks after you submit all the relevant documents along with the completely filled application.

Firstly, the criteria for the application of EP are based on the following:

• In case of a foreign entrepreneur, Singapore company incorporation is a must before the EP application.
• For a foreign professional, the educational & professional background must be sound.
• Minimum cut-off salary depending on the level of job.

It is however important to note here the approval of the EP application is purely in the hands of MOM (Ministry of Manpower), which is Singapore’s immigration authority. Our services are only limited to facilitating your EP application procedure and guiding you through the issuing of the pass once it is approved by MOM.

After the EP application has been approved, an In –Principle –Approval letter is issued by MOM upon which, we will notify the client to visit Singapore within a grace period of 3-6 months in order to collect the EP. The physical presence of the applicant or client is a must for the collection of the Employment Pass.

Once you become the holder of Employment Pass Singapore, it will be valid upto a period of 1-2 years. Upon its expiry you can further apply for its renewal, which is subject to the criteria put in place by the Singapore government.
